Hello!
This project is a study in combining two techniques: traditional hard-surface modeling and complex mesh creation. It features an impact lawn sprinkler complete with a realistic water spray, which has been created entirely using geometry (mesh), without any VFX simulations.
Hard-Surface Model: The sprinkler mechanism is highly detailed, accurately reproducing the brass, steel, and plastic components. All materials are PBR-based for maximum realism.
Water Modeling (Mesh): The key feature of this project is the static 3D model of the water spray. It was created as a single, high-detail mesh using procedural modeling techniques (MASH). This method allowed for capturing the complex, organic look of splashes and droplets, making it perfect for photorealistic renders.
Attention to Detail: To enhance realism, water droplets have been added to the sprinkler's body, which are also part of the geometry.
